Filament Guide
Find the right filament for your project
Material Properties
-
Impact Resistant
Non-flexible materials will not easily break when dropped with a high Charpy Impact Strength.
-
Heat Resistant
Need a material that can stand up to high temperature? Our Fiberon™ line has you covered.
-
Rigid and Stiff
These non-nylon materials are very rigid meaning they are not easy to bend.
-
Color Effects
Want a filament with some awesome color effects? Panchroma™ has you covered.
-
Flexible
These material options will flex and have great impact resistance. The lower the number, the softer the material.
-
Low Density
These products all have a low density meaning they will weigh less when printed.
Applications
-
Prototyping
These materials are easy to print and come in at a low price point making them great for test prints.
-
Mechanical Parts
For when you need an all-around material that will be used for general engineering applications.
-
Outdoor Use
Do you need heat resistance and some weather resistance? These materials will be a great choice.
-
Cosplay and Props
These materials are relatively easy to print and easy, easy to sand, and easy to post-process.
-
Automotive
Need a part with strength and heat resistance so for your automotive project?
-
Drones & RC Planes
Making a drone or an RC Plane? Then you need something lightweight and stiff.
-
Scientific Instruments
These materials will work great when you need to make a unique testing instrament.

Printing Requirements
Some materials will have specific printer and printing requirements.
-
No special requirements
These materials can print on a stock Ender 3 with no upgrades, so you can use any printer available.
-
Hardened Nozzle
These materials are abrasive and therefore should only be used with a hardened nozzle.
-
Enclosed Printer
It is recommended you print these materials with an enclosed printer to trap ambient heat.
Polymaker PC-ABS- Heated Chamber
PolyMax™ PC-FR- Heated Chamber
Polymaker PC-PBT- Heated Chamber
-
All-Metal Hotend
These materials require an all-metal hotend that can reach 250˚C or higher
Fiberon™ PPS-CF10 (310˚C min)
-
Filament Dryer
These materials are very hygroscopic and it is recommended to only use them with a heated filament dryer.
-
Heated Chamber
These are industrial level materials that require a printer that can maintain a chamber temp of 90˚C
-
Annealing
These materials will require annealing after printing in order to get to full strength.
-
Build Plate Adhesives
It is not required you use an adhesive for our materials, but some materials can benefit for strong adhesion and easy removal.
